Phila - Ams - London - Glasgow - Derby

Hey all, sorry no photos yet.

Decent and hectic times thusfar. Jeff checked his bag in Philly...but our flight was delayed a couple of hours so we missed our proper connection in Amsterdam. We got another flight and flew to London (which was an improvement over our first arrival spot) and got a free lunch out of it. Unfortunately, Jeff's bag didnt get a free lunch and, instead, got lost. We continued to Gatwick and went into town for a quick rest, then on to BBC Radio 2 for a program/interview/performance with the legendary Bob Harris (Old Grey Whistle Test...discovered Elton John?)

The interview and playing went quite well...Jeff's bag, meanwhile, was travelling on British Airways and was going to meet us in Glasgow the next day.

En route to Glasgow on Wed, our van broke down twice, the second time stranding us on the side of the highway for 5 hours while we waited for towing and replacement van. Interesting day. We got a sweet Mercedes van replacement. A "Vito" model. We're working on a treatment for a TV show with Vito playing the 'Kit' role in an updated Knight Rider.

"Ay! Why you guyz takin so long to unload this gear! ...Youze guys really wanna take this exit?... Ay, a little pizza for Vito here or what?? Just stick it in my grill."

Anyway...stayed in a magical English cottage in Oxford and had a wonderful meal made for us. Met a Greek magician, had breakfast in Oxford, where it was graduation day...all the students wearing odd capes resembling Harry Potter.

Oh, and Jeff's bag DID make it to Glasgow and hopefully had a crazy night. I lent Jeff a pair of socks. His bag is getting flown to London tomorrow.

Now in Derby after a short drive. I blew up an AC adaptor for the DL4. Nick from Gravenhurst is joining us onstage for 2 songs. Should be cool. Waiting for pizza to be delivered backstage. Dervt Pizza.

"Ay, what youze guys too lazy to bring a slice out to the lot or what?! Ay!!?!"

Dave is twittering...i've yet to see anything he's posted but i'm sure it's life changing.
