Farther On - Vetiver cover - 2002?

Home recording of the Vetiver classic, "Farther On", from the self-titled debut. Recorded on Yamaha digital 4-track with Sound Forge (cathedral reverb slapped on the stereo mix).

The Capitol Years - "Farther On" (Vetiver cover)

Full Fame Records founder and long-time Capitol Years colleague, Chris Hafner, first handed me the Vetiver demo disc in 2001. I eventually handed the disc to my sister's boyfriend (now husband). Thom went on to produce Vetiver, as well as To Find Me Gone, Tight Knit, the covers album, and assorted B-Sides. In a way, it all started with the awesomeness of this song.

I felt like recording it because I heard sweet harmonies in my head.
