Anyway, this was one of the last days of the UK tour. We had driven a bit of a distance from Brighton that day, with a replacement tour van (more like a small bus), sitting through tons of a traffic. I drove for the tour. Stick shift on the left, driving on the passenger side, etc. Add to this the anxiety of the new London central traffic zone where you get fined if you drive inside a certain perimeter. Stressful. Streets very poorly marked in London and in the UK in general as far as I recall. We did, however, stumble randomly onto Abbey Road which was nice.
This recording is without a full drumkit, and some direct guitars. Came out cool though Jeff's gtr is pretty low in the mix.
We totally stopped playing this song...
The Capitol Years - "Lucky Strike" - London, UK - May, 2003

This Photo was snapped in Liverpool, England - May 13th, 2003, before a pretty cool show at The Masque and maybe a half hour after our first rental van's window was busted in. Lots of hoodlums in Liverpool apparently, rough town.
Never noticed the discreet middle finger, care of Jeff, until 2009.
Chris was on tour with us, his camera got stolen. Not much else was taken, I don't think.
Kyle and Jeff seem to have retained their youthful vigor.
This could be from yesterday!
Dave and myself? Different story...but we're playing lots of tennis lately.
All photos taken by the very generous and talented John Hughes.

And my personal favorite...
